I received lots of lovely comments on my latest furniture rehab post, and almost every single one of them mentioned The Knobs. Those glorious, turquoise, teardrop beauties from Anthro that, many of you said, made the dresser. It got me thinking about how important those finishing touches are-that no matter how wonderful and unique your paint job is, if you don’t add the right finishing touch, something seems incomplete. The right hardware is your furniture’s jewelry, so to speak.
The bronze knobs in the first and fifth pictures came from Lowe’s, the white teardrop knobs in the fourth photo came with the dresser (Ikea), and the rest are from Anthropologie.
Looking at my collection, I seem to run the gamut from traditional to quirky to colorful and everything in between.
What’s your knob personality?
Last but not least, the winner of the Amy Peter’s Studio giveaway is Ashlei (no profile) and the winner of the I Love It All giveaway is Rachel. Contact me, ladies, and I’ll get you hooked up.

Your drawer pulls are awesome. And I like your sentiment that the pulls on a drawer or the knobs on a door are kind of like jewelry. xo
oh my! I just discovered your amazing blog. I have to tell you right now that it was your name that brought me over here….curious to see what this was all about. Which brings me to my comment on this post; those little details such as knobs are very important and can often carry the design into the “omg” category. As with the turquoise drops and the other knob on the light blue door.
I’m a new fan!
Same with the name of your blog…creating that “i gotta go see this” response in people
