By now, you all know of my love of using neutrals (with a heavy dose of texture and interest) in decorating. I recently did a couple of posts (here and here) professing this love….and now I’m about to contradict myself completely and share rooms such as these…
I’m not saying, mind you, that my adoration of whites and neutrals has ended. I’m simply stating that these cheery and colorful rooms are drawing me in, and inviting me to sit and stay awhile…
Because who doesn’t love fun, bold design every now and then?
And while I realize that color trends come and go, while my beloved neutrals are almost always in style…I think that the impending Spring is the perfect time to add a bit of color to my home decor.

I love spring! and I too love neutrals, but the rooms are gorgeous and a nice change for the upcoming season.
I LOVE that office with the pinks and yellows and teals!!!
But like you, while I don’t decorate with neutrals, I find that no matter what new style I try…I ALWAYS fall back to my stand-bys (or should I say my obvious favorites) of reds and sage green.
I think I’m finally done trying other things because they turn out to just be a waste of money for me.
But it doesn’t stop me from admiringly all types of styles and colors that others do!!
