clay tags+baskets=organizational happiness

A while back, I shared this clay tag tutorial…without having the slightest idea just how many times I’d make these for various occasions. Most recently, I created a set to adorn a trio of baskets in my foyer…

A couple of notes: Instead of using Model Magic, as I did in the tutorial, I used Crayola Air Dry Clay. While the finished product is breakable, it does dry harder and has a heavier weight, which I like. Also, I stamped the tags after they had dried…it looked better to me than stamping them while still wet.

Pretty and practical-I’m a definite fan:)

Great ideas for "tag spots". BTW, do you prefer the Model Magic over the Crayola Air Dry? Nice post.

Very nice :) When you say "stamp", do you just mean with ink and whatnot? You're not actually stamping INTO the clay? Thanks!
