There are certain things that can transform a room from blah to beautiful with minimal effort. Paint and pillows are near the top of that list, but a great rug is pretty transformational as well….
I really wanted to jump on the jute rug bandwagon; I love neutral colors and wanted the texture that a jute rug provides. But I definitely didn’t want something too rough or that would be uncomfortable to sit on. After checking out a few local places, I realized that I’d have to go online to find what I wanted. I ordered Pottery Barn’s Two Tone Diamond Jute Rug, and love how it adds texture and warmth to our living room.

Yepper. Just bought a jute – looking rug for my entry redo. It goes nicely with all white I think. I may be sorry when it gets muddy outside though, it’s light for an entry. And the kids aren’t very impressed with how it feels. But what do they know…
Ha ha…neither’s my husband! I told him that for a jute rug, this one’s much better than most! I do love all the texture it adds, though…definitely a keeper, in my book! xo
I, too, love neutral colors! The rug is great but adding a few design pieces that would complement it would make this place look better.
