flower pretzel candies {a recipe}

I fully admit it-I am so ready for Spring to be here! This Winter has been cold, snowy, and long, and I am ready for the scents, sights, and sounds of Spring. Anyone else with me?

With the changing of the seasons on my mind this past weekend, I decided to infuse a bit of Spring into my home with the help of Glade and their new Limited Edition Spring Collection-Poppy Groove™ and Hello Spring™.

After using my Wax Melt Warmer to infuse Poppy Groove™ into my home, I immediately fell in love with the sweet (not cloying!) and exotic scents of flowers in bloom. I believe scents can inspire emotion, and this scent definitely inspired my fun and playful side!

And what can I say about Hello Spring™? Only this: it’s fresh, clean and my new favorite Spring scent. After giving my home a dose of Spring fragrance, I can honestly say that it felt like Spring was in my home, which inspired an easy and fun Flower Pretzel Candy recipe!

These were so simple, so fun, and definitely Spring-inspired. So let’s get started. Here’s what you need:

-Pretzel snaps
– chocolate-caramel candies
-Spring-Colored chocolate candies

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Take a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and place 8 or so pretzels on it. Top each with a chocolate caramel candy. I found that if you do more than 8 or so at a time, the candies start to harden before you can finish assembling the flowers.

Place in the over for 3-5 minutes, just until the candies are soft. Pull the pretzels out of the oven, and center a chocolate candy in the middle, and press down. Take 6 more candies and press gently around the center candy.

Let cool, and you’re done!

I think I’ll package these in cello bags and hand out over the weekend…there may still be snow on the ground, but I can share the Glade scent-inspired Spring treats while they last (which may not be long)!
