Happy Weekend, friends!

It’s been a busy week, and I am definitely looking forward to a relaxing, fun, and HOT weekend. Mother Nature is planning highs all over 100 degrees this weekend…which will hopefully mean lots of indoor fun and crafting for me!

What’s in store for your weekend?

Whatever it is, have a happy and safe one!

xoxo

home tour {diy north carolina home}

Last month’s Country Living magazine featured a gorgeous, comfy casual North Caroline lake house. I came across the images on their site and just had to share, it’s one of my very favorite home tours ever…Emily’s style is amazing- I love it ALL!

Apparently, this kitchen update cost just $31 (all for paint and supplies)…and check out the floors-to save money on flooring, the couple painted the plywood subflooring, and added a jute rug for comfort.

Emily’s husband built this Restoration Hardware-esque table, for $11! A-mazing!

The furniture in the living room is a combination of Craig’s List and thrifting finds…talk about an eye for style!

LOVE these farmhouse-style planters-I have several myself that I use to hold candles and dishes!

What do y’all say? Love this home as much as I do? What’s your favorite part? Personally, I love the look of the painted subfloor with the jute rugs!
