I personally don’t do a lot of St. Patrick’s Day crafts and decor, but these easy Lucky Charms Cereal Treats are a simple and easy way to add a bit of festive fun to the holiday. They taste amazing, and only use three ingredients!

Full recipe card and printable shopping list is below! But in short, here’s what you need..

  • 6 cups marshmallow cereal
    6 tablespoons unsalted butter
    1 (10-ounce) package mini marshmallows
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Coat an 8×8 square pan with cooking spray or rub down with butter.

Add the butter to a saucepan and melt over medium-low heat. Working quickly, add half of the marshmallows and stir until thoroughly melted. Repeat with remaining marshmallows.

Stir in the vanilla and salt. Add the cereal and fold it in until completely coated.

Transfer to the baking pan, and gently press into an even layer (I used a piece of parchment paper to help with this step-mixture is sticky).

Sprinkle with extra marshmallows, if desired. Let the treats stand at room temperature until set.
