I am feeling ahead of the game (it’s a good feeling, though I rarely experience it). It’s early January and I already have a Valentine’s Day project to share-unlike the holiday season when I was sharing new crafts/ideas a week before Christmas-not very practical for all you DIYers.
I currently am loving yarn wreaths. It’s hard not to get carried away and make one for every occasion…and so I present my Valentine’s Day version. I like that it’s Valentine’s inspired, but not too themish.
I’m feeling lazy and therefore do not have a full tutorial for you…but it’s a fairly simple process. I left all the fabric edges raw…again highlighting my laziness, but I actually like the look. The patterned fabric was ruffled by hand, and the white fabric simply has pleats sewn into it. Oh, and I hot glued the fabric to the back of the wreath form in case you were wondering. If you have questions about the how-to, please feel free to leave a comment or email me! I’d be glad to help.

What a cute idea. It would be lovely to have all year round and change the little heart or add some sweet spring flowers in SpringAlison

It's beautiful! AND< if you felt like it, after V-day, you could snip off that pretty little heart and keep it up. Great work! I'm working on a Vday project now too, but it's not ready yet. I'll show you when it's done :)
