brown paper packages tied up with string

I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for ways to creatively wrap gifts.
I have a Pinterest board with lots of inspiration that I will share with you later in the week, but first I wanted to share this recent post I created as part of The Twinery’s Design Team.
Enjoy!

Hello! Everyone loves to give and receive beautifully wrapped gifts, right? Here are two ways that I use common craft supplies to step my gift wrapping up a notch.

Using ordinary kraft paper, cute doilies (mine are from knot & bow), and your favorite colors of The Twinery’s twine, you can easily and creatively present a fabulously-wrapped gift. Presentation is everything, right?

The above is one of my favorite go-to wrapping techniques! It is so easy to find inexpensive, yet very cute, notecards nowadays, and I love giving notecards as gifts. To amp up the packaging a bit, though, I unwrap the cards from their original packaging, insert them into a cellophane bag, add a cute gift tag and Twinery twine! Talk about taking it up a notch!

How do you creatively gift wrap using ordinary crafting supplies?

I really love the brown wrapped packages...so simple, but so sweet. I know it might sound a little silly, but I have been known to use aluminum foil now and again to wrap something. It's kinda fun and very shiny(and I LOVE shiny things).
