Hello there, friends! Today, I have a “charm”ing tutorial for you (yep-I went there) for chalkboard fabric wine charms…these are easy to whip up, and would make a great hostess gift for all those holiday gatherings that will be here before we know it.
The materials are simple-chalkboard fabric (you can find it here), scissors, and either chalk or chalk markers (these chalk markers aren’t cheap, but they are my very favorite)! Let’s get started…
Step 1: Take your fabric, and prime it. To do this, rub a piece of chalk over your entire piece of fabric. Erase with a sponge or paper towel.
Step 2: Take a wine glass, and trace the bottom onto the back of your fabric.
Step 3: Cut out your circles. You can use regular scissors for this or pinking shears.
Step 4: Trace a smaller circle in the middle of each larger circle.
Step 5: Using regular scissors, cut a slit into your larger circle, then cut around your smaller circle. When you’re done, you’ll have something that looks like this….
That’s it! You can make a set of these and package them as a hostess or birthday gift, you can put out some chalk at your next gathering and let people label their own wine glasses, or even use these as an adorable stocking stuffer for your wine-loving friends.
Thanks for reading all about chalkboard wine charms {a tutorial}. Have a crafty day!
