Let’s learn how to make easy Christmas doodles and drawings! You don’t have to have any artistic skill to make realistic and cute doodles.
Doodling is one of my favorite ways to relax.
In addition to being a great idea for self-care, it’s perfect for gussying up your bullet journal, notebooks, planner, cards, and gift wrap (see these Happy Planner printables for another easy way to customize your planner!)
So, today, I’m sharing some of my favorite, easy Christmas doodles!
First, up, what exactly do I mean when I use the word “doodle”?
What Is a Doodle?
Doodles are, quite simply, “easy drawings that can have concrete representational meaning, or may just be composed of random and abstract lines.”
In short, this means that a doodle is basically any simple drawing! They are perfect for cards, gift wrap and they are a great idea for bullet journaling!
I shared all about how to draw a banner a couple of weeks back, and they’re a great example of a doodle!
Which means that absolutely no artistic skills are required, making them perfect for everybody.
Benefits of Doodling
Doodling, like I mentioned above, is a great form of self care.
It’s easy, portable, and doesn’t require many supplies.
Best of all, doodling can be a form of meditation. I call it a “flow” state where you’re focus all your attention of what you’re doing and time flies by.
It’s a great state to be in to maximize creativity!
