What is a Content Creator

The world of content creation is complex, yet surprising simple. A content creator is any person who, wait for it…creates content. More specifically, a content creator is a person who is involved in contributing information to any media source (most especially, digital media).

Content creators are responsible for creating valuable and relevant information, used to inform and influence readers.

Content creators create content for blogs, social media, marketing copy, newsletters, infographics, eBooks, and other online resources. If you can read it online, a content creator has probably had a hand in creating it!

How to Become a Content Creator

It’s as simple (and difficult) as this: If you want to be a content creator, begin by creating content.

Of course, it’s slightly more difficult than that. You’ll want to create content that is valuable to a group of people, accurate and relevant. One way to begin, is to start a blog!

I’m a big fan of blogging. Choose your niche and you’re off. Create content daily, a few times a week or weekly. The biggest thing is to begin.
