SVG files (both free and low-cost) are so popular, so today, I wanted to share some free Gift Tag SVG files with you!
Before we get into all the fun files, let’s talk about SVG files in general.
What Does an SVG File Mean?
An SVG file, which stands for scalable vector graphic file, is a standard graphics file that is used mainly for rendering two-dimensional images.
The great thing about SVG files is that they generate clean graphics at any scale.
They’re optimized for Search Engine Optimization and are smaller than other formats. They’re capable of dynamic animations.
They’re great for so so many applications, such as logos, signs and cutting machines!
How to Open SVG Files
There are so many programs out there that will open SVG files.
Since most of you will be opening SVG files for your Silhouette, Cricut or CutNScan cutting machines, we’ll put our focus there.
SVG files come in a zipped folder, which will need to be extracted before you can manipulate the files.
Once you download a file, you’ll need to unzip it before you can import it.
To unzip your SVG file, double-click the folder and choose “extract all”.
You’ll then be asked where you want to keep your files.
I often choose either my desktop or a folder on my computer (you can label a folder “SVG files” for easy retrieval).
Just remember where you extract your files as you’ll need to find them again to upload them.
Once you are in your design space (I know must of you use either Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio), you’ll upload your file and begin designing your project.
We’ve compiled the Best Vinyl for Cricut and Silhouette so you can get a perfect project, every day!

I searched for free svg gift tags and your page came up first. What's frustrating is you don't have any free svg gift tag files. I know how to use them so I don't need to read about them which is what your page is about, I just wanted some new ideas and free downloads.
