I’m always looking for new, creative ways to use mason jars. This quick project pairs mason jars with another favorite of mine-jute twine!
Here’s what you need…
Step 1: Take a length of your twine, and, leaving a tail at each end for tying, tape to each side of your mason jar.
Step 2: Next, take your spool of twine and hot glue one end to your jar.
Step 3: Wrap the twine around the rim of your jar. When you are happy with the result, cut the end of the twine and glue it down.
Step 4: Lastly, tie each loose end of twine into a knot….
Easy, wasn’t it?

Hi, what thickness jute are you using? Looks like 5mm or is is thinner?
Thanks a lot, Rose

Such a great idea...i've used something like this at weddings before {usually going down the aisle on shepards hooks} but for some strange reason NEVER thought to hanging them from a cute hook in my house!! BRILLIANT!!
Thanks for sharing!! ~ jillian www.hersplitends.com
