I’ll admit, I’m not nearly done decorating for Christmas yet (as in, my tree isn’t even up), but that doesn’t mean holiday decor is a no-show in our home so far. I’ve been having way more fun than I should decorating and changing out decor in a few well-loved corners of my home. I wanted to share one such work-in-progress with you today!
I’m adoring the aqua and red color scheme, and created the twine-wrapped lampshade by, you guessed it, wrapping a lampshade with twine;) I shared the chalkboard frame project in this post, and I got the twig colored pencils from World Market.
The snowflake wreath was super-simple; I took wooden snowflakes (bought a few years ago from Crate and Barrel, but you can find something similiar here). I simply hot-glued them onto an embroidery hoop, and hung with ribbon.
So tell me-what’s the order of your holiday decorating? Are you a tree first kinda gal? Do you do what I do and decorate a corner here and there before jumping in feet first?
