Sharing how to make paper rosettes! These are inexpensive to make, come together quickly, and make a huge statement when displayed together on a wall! If you’re looking for an easy photo backdrop idea, this is it!
These paper rosettes are one of my very favorite things to make. The supplies needed are simple, and they’re easy enough to create to make them perfect for a Girl’s Night, or to put together while watching your favorite series on Netflix.
I wanted to add some color and interest to my daughter’s room, so I made a quick trip the crafting aisle at Walmart to purchase Scotch® Brand Multitask Tape and Command™ Mini Hooks, gathered some scrapbook paper I already had on hand, and got to work on my paper rosettes!
Scotch® Brand products are my go-to when I need any sort of adhesive. From tape to spray adhesives, there always seems to be a Scotch® Brand product to meet my crafting need.
Any reader of this blog knows how much I rely on my Command™ Brand products. Remember this post on my Vintage-Inspired Window Panes? That gorgeous boxwood wreath was hung with a Command™ hook! Command™ Brand products provide damage-free hanging solutions for a wide variety of uses.
Here are the fun and cheery designs I used for my rosettes. For nice, full rosettes, you’ll need three 12×12 sheets of each design.
To make the rosettes, take each sheet of scrapbook paper and fold it accordion style. Take each accordion-folded sheet of paper, and fold it in half (shown below).
Then, using Scotch® Brand Multitask Tape, attach the two inner pieces of paper with a piece of tape so that they’ll look like the example below…
You’ll now need to take your three fan-shaped pieces and tape them together to form your rosette. First, lay two pieces side by side, take the ends where they meet, and tape them together. Once two sections are secure, add in the third section, using tape to secure it to the other sections…
And that’s all there is to it! Create these paper rosettes with different paper colors/styles for endless variations and to match any color scheme or decor style!
Like I mentioned above, I found these products (and so much more!) in the crafting aisle of Walmart!
Thanks for reading all about how to make paper rosettes! Have a crafty day!
