Coasters! They’re an easy craft project, fun to make and gift, and so easy to customize. I create personalized coasters in my etsy shop, but wanted to tackle a material I’ve never used for coasters before–acrylic tiles! These acrylic tile coasters use fun marbled paper, which gives them a modern and fun look!
Materials:
- 4 Square Acrylic Tiles
- Mod Podge
- Foam Brush
- Patterned Paper or Fabric
Step 1: Gather your materials. You can cut your acyrlic sheet yourself using a table saw, but you may be able to find a home improvement store willing to do that for you. Trace your tile onto the back of your paper and cut. Do this for each tile. Love the paper? I got it from Paper Source!
Step 3: Use your Mod Podge to cover one side of the tile. Place your paper (patterned side down), over your tile and press firmly. Once dry, use the Mod Podge to seal over the paper.
Let dry, and that’s it!
Cute, right? I think a set of these would make a great hostess or housewarming gift, as well as a fun girls’ night or craft night project!
Thanks for reading all about my marbled tile coasters! Have a great day!
