my fall mantel

Goodness, friends! Judging from the comments on my twine giveaway/fall garland post, you guys sure do love your Twinery twine! You have a couple more days to enter before I draw a winner…

I had a couple of adjectives in mind as I put my Fall mantle together….one was “simple”, another was “neutral”, and the third one was….”cheap.”
(very deep and emotion-provoking, I know)

The only thing I had to purchase was the “S”…the rest I already had on hand.

The stencils used for both the “S” and the garland are part of the new Martha Stewart line at Michaels.

I’ll share a tutorial for the plate later this week…I looove this Emily Bronte quote and was so happy to be able to incorporate it into my mantel.

And there you have it! I’m really happy with the way it turned out…
and, yet, my thoughts are already moving towards my Holiday mantel:)

I guess that’s the life of a home hobbyist, huh?;)
