I admit, I love to paint and repaint the rooms in our home. I love seeing a room transformed by a coat of paint, and, admittedly, I don’t even mind the process of painting all that much. We’re getting ready to repaint our bedroom, and when we heard that Valspar now offers the first complete line of Zero VOCᵻ interior paints, at Lowes, I was curious to check them out.
VOCs are Volatile Organic Compounds that can negatively affect indoor air quality. Due to advances in technology, Valspar Zero VOCᵻ paints have improved performance characteristics while reducing VOCs to minimal levels. A quality product, without compromises in performance, is the end result. In short, Valspar Zero VOCᵻ paint has less harsh fumes, and is safer for the environment than traditional paint.
In addition, all Valspar interior paints at Lowe’s have earned GREENGUARD Gold Certification, UL’s highest standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air. As much as I love to paint the rooms in our home, I always worry about what we breathe in during that process, so this is great news.
And take a look at all the possible color options, sold exclusively at Lowes.
Talk about a tough decision! Here are some more “before” images of our bedroom, before it gets the Valspar Zero VOCᵻ treatment.
With the help of Valspar Zero VOCᵻ, we’re going to go light above the chair rail (Pantone Barely Blue) and dark and moody below (Sharkfin). I can’t wait to show you the end result! We chose the Signature line because of the amazing color choices and the scuff-shield technology.
ᵻ: This product contains 0 g/L VOC as calculated within the margin of error by EPA Method 24.
