Fall, for some reason, is always busy for our family. Not so much with responsibilities or things that need to be done (though, there are always some of those), but more with cookouts, get-togethers with other families, Fall sports, etc. In short, fall is fun, and, for these reasons, is probably my favorite season.
When Glade debuted their new Limited Edition Scents Pumpkin Pit Stop™ and Hit the Road™, I couldn’t wait to try them out. It’s well-known about me that I love candles, and seasonal fragrances are always at the top of my list.
If I could tell you just one thing about Pumpkin Pit Stop™, it would be this: the moment I experienced it, all of my favorite fall memories came to mind. The scent helped evoke memories of bonfires, cozy sweaters, apple-picking, and all the other wonderful memories I associate with this time of year. The new Glade® Limited Edition Fall Collection scents inspire something else as well…
This s’mores bar was inspired by Glade® fall scents, and, to me, is the epitome of all that I love about fall.
I wanted to add a touch of fall color, so I created the garlands and used the eraser end of a pencil to stamp craft paint around the edges of paper plates. I set out a variety of s’mores toppings, including milk chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter filled cups, filled chocolates, and both plain and coconut marshmallows.
I found the new Glade® Limited Edition Fall Collection scents at Kroger; next time you’re there, be sure to check them out (though I promise it’ll be hard not to throw a couple in your cart)!
And here’s the finished product…
Time with friends and a yummy treat is what this season is all about.
What is YOUR favorite way to celebrate fall?

Funny, s'mores have always felt like more of a summer thing to me, since it's what we used to do at the cottage over bonfires, but hey, any excuse to eat s'mores year round, I'll take it! :P xo
