Simplifying mealtime is one of those life goals that often feels unreachable. Because the truth is, while we all would love to make mealtime easier, we also want to provide healthy, locally-sourced and delicious meals to our families. We’re not willing (and shouldn’t be willing) to sacrifice these things for simpler meal prep.
Enter Terra’s Kitchen, a meal kit delivery service now available in my area (DC/Richmond). Terra’s Kitchen’s pre-prepped meals are (honestly!) able to be put together in 30 minutes or less. Their recipes are plant strong, nutrient dense, and never, ever contain artificial or processed ingredients.
Before we get into the meal itself, though, let’s talk about their eco-friendly delivery vessel, which is completely reusable up to 100 times. This vessel features proprietary, climate-controlling technology to keep Terra’s Kitchen’s high-quality ingredients cool and fresh for delivery. After unpacking your delivery, simply peel off the address label to reveal the return label, place on your front porch, and the vessel will be picked up the next day!
When it comes down to it, we’re all busy, but we’re still not willing to sacrifice at-home family mealtimes. Terra’s Kitchen offers consumers an easy tool for quick meals, that don’t sacrifice nutrition or taste, and can go from the skillet to the table in under 30 minutes.
We tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos with Avocado Goat Cheese Sauce, and they were absolutely amazing. With options for omnivore, gluten-free, paleo and vegetarian preferences, Terra’s Kitchen is a great option for those with dietary restrictions.
To put together this meal, all that was needed was to make the Avocado Goat Cheese Sauce (I used a fork to keep the texture on the chunkier side, you could also use a food processor for this step), cook the chicken, and warm the tortillas.
We also tried the Southwestern Steak and Sweet Potato Bowl, which was fresh, healthy and loved by all four of us!
